Testimonials
Dear Ron Buckner:
As real estate appraisers we have seen it all. We love our home which we had built in 1971 and our great close-in location. However, even with good quality of construction and recent remodeling down to studs, new low-e storm windows, roof with ridge vents, exterior brick vents, recent high energy efficient a/c's and extra insulation including reflective solar shield in our attics, our older homes attics still had in excess of 160 degrees and correspondingly high utility bills in our home and living quarters. In desperation, I began to research on the internet. I contacted you and a competitor of yours here in Houston. You didn't have a representative here and were higher priced. But I liked what I read and we bought your fans and they were delivered and installed just days before "Ike" struck Houston. Well, 14 days without electricity, 7 with no water. Can't say it was pleasant, but I can say we survived thanks to your solar attic fans which significantly reduced our attics' heat and made our home bearable. Being only 3 miles west of I-45 where Ike came in with it's Hurricane force winds, we were amazed to not suffer any damage to your fans...it damaged other vents of our home, took big trees down, but not your vents. We're looking forward to actually seeing a reduction in our electricity bill, thanks to your solar vents. Should you have anyone that needs a personal recommendation, please feel free to give them my numbers and I'll be happy to let them know how great this product is. Thanks for spending so much time and effort on my questions.
Good luck,
Paulette & Bob Partin, Houston, TX I did such a great job bragging about your vents to our family, that our son wants 3 for his home. Could you please ship me 3 more? Give me a call and again, thanks. Please feel free to use my email in any ads or as a personal source to any future clients.

Mr.. Buckner,
After an initial disappointment due to improper installation of soffit vents when our home was constructed, which gave only a small fraction of the replacement air to the attic, our solar fans are doing a magnificent job. This year through June , which is warmer than last year, we have saved over 2,000 kW. At this rate our payback will be about 2 1/2 to 3 years and my wife is thrilled! I also installed 6 fans at our church which has a huge attic. I am waiting for others to complete an audit of our actual savings but they report that is quite a large one. As you know I am a custom home builder and we have installed your solar fans on a number of our customer's homes and our clients have been pleased with the results.

Tony - Just letting you know that we did get our rebate in this months statement from CPS. Also, I realize the weather has been a bit different so it's hard to do a straight comparison , but with no change in our electric habits, our bill was $380 in June, $313 in July (units were installed mid July), and the bill for August is $241. Not bad, especially considering we have a pretty old a/c unit, and we run a pool pump throughout the day.
Thanks again - Scott
Karl, This is just a follow up to see how the solar powered fan you purchased from us is working for you. Have you noticed any differences in the over all cooling dynamics of your home? We are very interested in anything both positive and/or negative you may have to offer us. Thank you

Subject: RE: Solar Powered Ventilation
Thanks for the email Ron. Got the unit installed and it is doing fine. No longer hit a wall of heat walking up the stairs which is why I bought it. Our AC went out and even the repair man said we made a good choice! Keep up the quality work.

Subject: Re: solar powered ventilation Ron; Just wanted to let you know that the fan has been installed and appears to be working quite well. My roofer stopped by yesterday to have me sign off on the new roof, and he told me how he has been spreading the word about the solar fan--and how " you need to do what that guy down the street did.." Since the spring hailstorm, there are new roofs going up everywhere. Anyway, if you get allot of orders from Ky, don't forget your buddy!! Next, I'd love to add a second fan to try the house ventilation process you described! Maybe next year. Many thanks on a fine product! Dave James Lexington, KY

L.E.E.D. Applications for Cyclone Solar Fan
The Cyclone solar powered attic fan is powered by a 20-watt photovoltaic panel and moves up to 1275 cfm of air. Its compact, low-profile design allows it to be used to reduce extreme heat build-up and condensation in a variety of locations. The fan is available with self flash, curb mount, and gable mount flashing for pitched or flat roof applications. The 'Remote' systems separate the panel from the fan for more flexible installation, and the turbine retrofit solar fan is designed to fit the base assembly of any 12” turbine fan.
